Roof repairs

Did anyone get the notice today outside your door regarding the roof repairs and the statement that air conditioners should be removed from windows while they are working on the roofs?

How do they expect everyone to remove air conditioners?

How can everyone remove their air conditioners? Why don't they (repairmen) just be more careful.
I believe there was also mention of the repairmen covering the air conditioners with a dust preventing cover. I have not seen such a cover on any of the air conditioners in any of the buildings. And if a cover was placed over all the air conditioners, who would remove the covers when the work was finished?

I guess that notice they circulated was a "form" notice. Probably hasn't changed in quite a while. I asked one of the repairmen to please excuse me as he was blocking me from exiting from a side gate and he just stood there. I don't believe he spoke English because someone standing next to him spoke to him in Spanish and then he moved out of my way.
